Tip Two - Get an accountability partner and surround yourself with positive people
Share your goal with someone you trust in keeping you accountable to achieving it - this person may be a family member, friend, work colleague, or paid professional - and provide them with a weekly update of your progress. By doing this, you are not going at it alone. They will help you stay committed and motivated.
Also, surround yourself with people who inspire you to be a better person, support you, and make you feel happy and energised so you are less tempted to fall back into old habits. You don't have to know these people personally, they could be speakers that you listen to or authors that you read.
